Rooms Available For Hire
The accommodation at Church House is on 2 floors.
The ground floor known as the Warden’s Room where churchwardens once brewed their ale measures 7.3 metres X 4.7 metres and fully complies with the requirements of disability access. It can comfortably accommodate gatherings of 30 - 35 people in various lay-outs and has overhead lighting which can be adjusted to suit different purposes.
The illustration below shows the Warden’s Room set out to accommodate a formal dinner for 18 people.
The Layamon Room is named after the famous writer priest of Areley Kings is a prestige location measuring 9.2 X 6 meters. It can accommodated over 60 people in “lecture room” format and 50 when seated at tables.
Both rooms are centrally heated with optional electric heating if required and have plenty of 13amp power points.
The domestic offices comprise ladies’ and gentlemen’s toilets complete with baby changing facilities, disabled toilet and galley kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, hot plate, hostess trolleys and has adequate cutlery, crockery and glassware.
Church House is furnished with tables and chairs which can be arranged to suit most requirements. Screens, lecterns, etc. are available on request.
There is adequate parking adjacent to Church House and roadside parking available
Church House is regularly hired for:
Parties, Business Meetings, Workshops, Exhibitions, Lectures, Art Classes, Away Days, Quiet Days, Dining, Entertaining, Wedding & Baptism Receptions, etc. and by many local clubs and societies.
